There is no denying that COVID-19 is having a huge impact on life across the planet. The infectious nature of the virus means that anyone who suspects they may have COVID-19 has to be incredibly careful, self-isolating for up to two weeks.
Not everyone in this situation has the luxury of being able to isolate at home however, and the need for safe transportation and evacuation of suspected cases is ever increasing. So, how are those within the international medical evacuation field coping with the sudden increased demand in transporting infected patients, both within Africa and outside the continent.
